About Us

Sort was created to make ADHD care feel more human, more accessible, and easier to navigate. Too many adults face long waits, confusing processes, or feel unheard when trying to get support. Sort exists to change that, offering high‑quality ADHD assessments that people can actually access, delivered by professionals who genuinely take time to listen.

Sort is part of Bevan, a Community Benefit Society that has delivered NHS and inclusion health services in West Yorkshire since 2011 and holds a CQC Outstanding rating. Sort is a self‑funded service, it’s built on the same values: compassion, fairness, and putting people before systems.

From the beginning, Sort has been shaped through co‑production. We worked alongside ADHD organisations, advocates, and people with lived experience to understand what works, what causes harm, and what’s missing from existing pathways.

That collaborative approach continues to guide how our services develop.

We charge fair, transparent prices and reinvest any surplus into Bevan’s inclusion health work, supporting people who are homeless, seeking asylum, or excluded from mainstream care. Sort exists to support the NHS, not compete with it.

At its heart, Sort is about clarity, care, and confidence, helping people feel heard, understood, and supported to move forward in a way that works for them.

Why we do it

Our purpose is simple, to offer great health services to anyone who needs them, at a fair and clear price. We treat everyone with genuine understanding and give back by reinvesting any surplus into local communities across Yorkshire. With the NHS under huge resource pressures, we step in to make sure you get the support you need, when you need it.

Our Vision is a time when everyone can access the health support they need, when they need it.
